- Identity Data: First name, last name, gender, and year of birth.
- Contact Data: Email address, telephone numbers, and billing/shipping addresses.
- Competition & Results Data: Club affiliation, event categories, scores, rankings, and historical competition outcomes.
- Technical & Usage Data: IP address, browser type, and information about how you use our website.
3. Public Display of Competition Results & Year of Birth
As a core part of our mission to record, manage, and promote diving and athletic
competitions, we publicly display competition start lists, live feeds, and historical
results on our website.
What is published?
Publicly accessible results sections contain athlete names, club/team affiliations, event placements, scores, and the participant's year of birth.
Why do we publish the Year of Birth?
The year of birth is strictly processed and displayed to:
- Ensure Competitive Integrity: Verify that participants are competing within the correct, age-restricted competitive categories.
- Resolve Identity Ambiguity: Accurately distinguish between different athletes who share identical or similar names.
- Maintain Historical Archives: Preserve accurate, permanent records of sporting achievements over time.
Lawful Basis for Processing
We process and display this data based on our Legitimate Interests (GDPR Article
6(1)(f)). It is in our legitimate interest as a sports recording organization, and the
interest of the wider sporting community, to maintain transparent, fair, and accurate
competition records.
Note for Parents/Guardians: For minor participants, this data is collected via
parental/guardian consent during event registration or through affiliated sports
clubs/governing bodies. If you have concerns regarding the publication of a minor's
year of birth due to specific safety or privacy risks, please contact us directly.
4. How Your Personal Data Is Collected
We collect data from you through:
- Direct Interactions: Forms you fill out when registering for competitions, subscribing to services, Online Dive Sheets or contacting us.
- Third Parties or Publicly Available Sources: Sports clubs, event organizers, or national governing bodies that provide competition entries and roster data to us to facilitate event management.

7. Data Retention
Competition results, rankings, and associated participant identities (including year of birth) form a permanent historical archive of the sport. This data will be retained indefinitely to maintain the integrity of sports history, unless a valid erasure request overrides this interest under specific legal conditions. Contact and technical data will only be kept as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes we collected it for.
8. Your Legal Rights
